Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what you send us. There is no account system and no tracking profile.

  • Quote requests: name, email, optional phone, ZIP code, vehicle details and your description of the problem.
  • Reviews: name, email and the review text. Your email is never published.
  • Shop submissions and contact messages: the business and contact details you enter.
  • Technical data: your IP address and browser user-agent are stored with quote requests as a spam-prevention measure.

How we use it

  • Quote requests are passed to repair shops capable of the work you described, so they can contact you.
  • Reviews are moderated and, if published, shown with your name and the review text only.
  • Contact messages are used to answer you and to correct listings.

We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to advertisers, data brokers or marketing lists.

Cookies

We set one strictly necessary session cookie, used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. It carries no identifier, is not used for advertising, and expires when you close your browser. If analytics are enabled in future, this page will be updated first and a consent mechanism added.

How long we keep it

  • Quote requests: 24 months, then deleted.
  • Unpublished reviews and rejected submissions: 12 months.
  • Published reviews: kept while the listing exists.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — including withdrawing a review you submitted. Email [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EEA/UK (GDPR) have these rights in law; we extend them to everyone.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are stored in an access-controlled database. No online service can promise perfect security, so please do not send payment details, government identifiers or other sensitive data through our forms.

Third-party links

Listings link out to repair shops' own websites and to Google Maps. Once you follow one of those links you are subject to that site's privacy policy, not ours.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
